Maureen Shaffer
Maureen is a three-time Vice President of Marketing with 20 years of experience inside medical device companies. She has provided early-stage market and message strategy services for medical device CEOs at Mingletoe since 2012.
Twenty years ago, Maureen had the unusual opportunity to bring reimbursement under the Marketing department. She hired a highly competent firm, and together they supported use of an unlisted code for existing customers while advocating for key societal support, through a RUC survey and eventual issuance of new physician CPT codes. Along the way, she learned the power of healthcare economics and the valuable information often hidden in codes, coverage and reimbursement. She was hooked and has used these tools for key market analyses ever since.
